1-MIUI 13 Update Coming to Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9, Poco X2, Among Others: Report.

Phones under Redmi, Poco, and Black Shark will get MIUI 13 update, according to a new report.

MIUI 13 is Xiaomi's next iteration of user interface and it is set to come to a number of smartphones including Redmi, Poco, and Blackshark phones. The update will be presented in the second quarter of 2021 (Q2 2021) according to a new a report citing a Super Moderator on Xiaomi Mi Community forum. However, this does not necessarily mean that the details are correct — the moderators won't necessarily have access to this information. If true though, then the post has leaked the roadmap of phones that will get the update starting from June 2021. The list includes smartphones like Redmi Note 9, Poco X2 and Mi10 series.

As per the Mi Community Forum thread, which is now seems to be have removed but was accessed by Trak.in, “Super Moderator” with the name “Manwex” posted that the “MIUI 13 will be presented in Q2 2021”. The report also claims that Xiaomi is expected to announce the custom MIUI 13 beta version shortly. We have to take the information provided by the moderator with a pinch of salt because the accuracy of the source is questioned.

Interestingly, just after the release of MIUI 12 in April this year, the MIUI Research Team posted on Mi Community asking fans to participate in a MIUI 13 feature design survey. It could be taken as an indication that development of the next generation software has already begun. Every iteration of software brings an array of optimisations, animations, and customisations. Tecno Pova is available in the Philippines for PHP 6,999 (roughly Rs. 10,800) and the Indian pricing has not been revealed yet.

Tecno Pova smartphone has been confirmed via Flipkart to launch in India on December 4. The phone is already available in certain markets including Nigeria and Philippines. It boasts of impressive specifications such as quad rear camera setup, a large battery, and support for fast charging. Tecno Pova will most likely be offered in three colour options and a single RAM and storage configuration. As of now, the India pricing for the phone has not been shared and there is no information on availability.

Tecno Pova will be launched in India on December 4 at 12pm (noon) as per the dedicated Flipkart page. As of now, it is unclear if there will be a launch event for the phone. The Indian price has not been shared by the company but it is available in the Philippines for PHP 6,999 (roughly Rs. 10,800). It could be speculated that the smartphone may be priced somewhere close to the Philippines variant in India. Availability details is expected to be made clear when the phone launches. It may come in Magic Blue, Speed Purple, and Dazzle Black colour options.

Tecno Pova runs on Android 10 with HiOS on top. It features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720x1,640 pixels) display with a hole-punch cutout that houses the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM. You get 64GB of onboard storage as well.

In terms of optics, Tecno Pova has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor. As per the specifications tweeted by known tipster Mukul Sharma on Twitter, the camera setup will include two 2-megapixel sensors as well. The fourth will be an AI HD lens, according to the tipster. At the front, Tecno Pova comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and more. It will also come with FM radio support. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, G-sensor, and there is a fingerprint scanner on the back. Tecno Pova is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone measures 171.23x77.57x9.4mm.

The yet-unannounced Realme phone seems to be an upcoming entry-level handset in the company’s portfolio.

The listing tips key specifications, hinting that the company could be working on a new phone to launch in global markets. The FCC listing show that the phone could carry a large 5,000mAh battery and a triple camera setup on the back. This upcoming handset looks to be positioned in the entry-level segment in Realme's smartphone lineup. The FCC listing also hints that the phone will run on Realme UI V1.0 out of the box.

The FCC listing for the purported Realme phone with model number RMX3063 surfaced recently. The site reveals that the phone may have a triple rear camera setup. A sketch leaked alongside on the certification site, suggesting a square-shaped camera module placed on the top left corner. The phone is also listed to pack a 5,000mAh battery that is rated with a real capacity of 4,880mAh. As mentioned, it is expected to run on Realme UI V1.0 out of the box.

Realme RMX3063 is also tipped to support connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. Realme 7 5G is also touted to be the first in its price range to offer dual-5G connectivity. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Charge fast charging. Its price has been set at GBP 279 (roughly Rs. 27,400) in the UK for the sole 6GB + 128GB storage variant.
